Attributes of Knowledge
This page explains how human consciousness seeks fulfillment through different Sources of Knowledge, and how each source corresponds to a specific Satisfaction and State of Emotional Being. It shows that our experience of life depends not on accumulating more, but on which source of knowledge is guiding our choices and how we use our LIMITING RESOURCES, Time and Energy.
At the center is the human being in Conscious Awareness, representing our UNIQUE ABILITY, Conscious Awareness and Free Choice. These abilities allow us to move intentionally between Levels of Consciousness, unconscious, conscious, and subconscious, rather than reacting automatically to life.
Sources of Knowledge
Sources of Knowledge
Instinct
Instinct operates at the Levels of Consciousness, unconscious, and is governed by the Elements of Our Psyche, id.
Its role is to satisfy our needs such as sustenance, safety, and reproduction.
When these needs are met, we experience the state of emotional being, contentment.
Instinct anchors us in the body and the present moment. When instinct is ignored or overridden, we are more likely to act F.A.S.T., fear, anger, sadness, and temptation, leading to impulsive MANIFESTATIONS, Actions, Feelings, and Thoughts that drain Time and Energy.
Intellect
(Tree of Knowledge)
Intellect operates at the Levels of Consciousness, conscious, and is governed by the Elements of Our Psyche, ego.
It seeks to fulfill our satisfactions, wants such as comfort, convenience, amusement, and entertainment.
When wants are met, we experience the state of emotional being, happiness.
The intellectual attributes, mechanical, cognitive, artistic, and physical, are the means by which wants are achieved. These attributes improve efficiency, capability, creativity, and performance.
Intellect improves life by improving the quality and quantity of existence.
However, when the ego attempts to satisfy every want, constant stimulation overwhelms conscious awareness, rapidly consuming LIMITING RESOURCES, Time and Energy, and increasing Anxiety.
Intuition (Tree of Life)
Intuition operates at the Levels of Consciousness, subconscious, and is guided by the Elements of Our Psyche, superego. It fulfills our satisfactions, desires such as connection, love, Peace, and compassion. When desires are honored through loving intention, we experience the state of emotional being, joyfulness.
The intuitive attributes, communication, sacrifice, faith, and empathy, are the means through which desires are fulfilled. These attributes are learned through observation and relationship and are expressed through our intuitive identity, emotions, behaviors, and responses.
Intuition improves living together by helping us improve upon one another.
The Core Back to the Present Message
This model reinforces a central Back to the Present truth. Anxiety arises when the Elements of Our Psyche, ego, tries to satisfy every want, when Sources of Knowledge, instinct, are underappreciated and we act F.A.S.T., or when Sources of Knowledge, intuition, are drowned out by constant conscious stimulation.
By honoring instinct, using intellect wisely, and cultivating intuition, we align our MANIFESTATIONS, Actions, Feelings, and Thoughts, with our AGREEMENTS, Productivity, Peace, and Purpose. This alignment brings us back to the present moment, the only place where contentment, happiness, and joyfulness can be consciously experienced.
